This Utah winter wedding was simply amazing. I was so excited to take their photos for so many reasons. First off, they both are just such a good people. Really. They are nice, kind, easy going and so considerate of others. Secondly, they were getting married on December 31st! What could be a better way for me, as a photographer, to finish off 2015?
They got married at LDS Bountiful temple. It was a lovely sunny day which helped to bring extra light and shininess to the photos. Everyone was so happy and excited for Ammon and Brittney. But no one could be more happier than Ammon and Brittney themselves. I could see how much love they had for each other and how special this day was to them.
The weather at that day, despite being sunny, was as cold as a Utah winter wedding weather could be. I was bundled up like an Eskimo but not the guys. However, they bravely fought the cold and kept smiling the entire day. It was so touching to see Ammon holding Brittney’s hand and trying to keep her warm.
They had a lovely reception at The Lodge at Traverse Mountain that night. I absolutely loved the way it was decorated. It felt warm, cozy and so friendly. A big hand to the family members and friends who helped organize this reception. They did a wonderful, wonderful job. By the way, Ammon and Brittney’s families are great. What a lovely people. Lucky for me that I got to meet and spend that special day with them.
Oh, and you know what is one of my favorite things about this wedding? Their last name is LOVE. How adorable is this? I LOVE IT!
