Austin wedding photographers are so lucky to have Pedernales Falls State Park in Austin area. I’ve said it a few times, but really, Pedernales Falls State Park engagements are one of my favorites. I know it is a little bit far away, but it is so worth driving there. This time, Reid and Crystal, were so adventures to take photos at the park at the sunrise. I’ve taken engagement photos there before, but never at the sunrise. So, drinking my morning shake and singing along with the radio I arrived to the park and what a beautiful sight it was! The sun was just barely coming out, painting the horizon in warm orange tones. It was very quiet and peaceful. No tourists or visitors; just us in a gorgeous spot. We drove to the Pedernales Falls trail and took most of our photos there. I couldn’t be happier with the lighting. I always try to encourage the couples to take photos right before the sunset or sunrise for a better lighting experience.
Reid and Crystal looked absolutely stunning! I loved Crystal’s dress. She looked so gorgeous in it. Reid couldn’t pass up a chance to wear his cowboy boots, like a real Texan. He also insisted on a few shots with his cowboy hat. They also both love champagne so we incorporated it in our shoot. Needless to say, I’m so excited for their spring wedding at the beautiful Green Pastures venue. I keep loving my experience being a wedding photographer in Austin, and I’m so glad I joined the ranks of Austin wedding photographers.
