I’m so happy that the weather in Salt Lake City has been pretty nice for a few days. I know that a lot of Utah photographers were unhappy with the weather for the last few weeks. I had to shoot some clothing from DownEast Basic clothing summer collection and it kept raining and raining. I met with Karla and as soon as we started shooting the rain just starting pouring at us! We had to reschedule for another day.
The next time we met the weather was somewhat better. We had a few outfits and props planned and two locations in mind. It was so fun! Karla’s family is so cute. Her son Jack took behind the scene photos.
One of the outfits that we had was a swimming suit. I saw a volleyball court and at that moment I knew that it was our only chance to have sand in the photos. Karla was so brave to wear a swimming suit in a cold weather, but acted like it didn’t bother her a bit. Amazing!
It was a wonderful experience and I loved new summer collection from DownEast Basic.
