Do you believe in love?
Do you believe that there is a special person who you’re meant to be with? I hope you do. Love happens everywhere. Love in Utah has it’s own charm. There are so many young people that are in love and are ready to commit to marriage. It’s nice to see this loyalty and commitment.
Meeting Grant and Tamara was absolutely delightful. I love to meet new couples. I love to see how they smile with each other. I love to see their excitement about marriage. I love to hear their love stories. I love to create their story through the photographs. I’ve taken so many engagements in Little Cottonwood canyon this year. But I absolutely loved this one. Grant and Tamara are just so cute together!
We all come from different background. We live differently, we believe in different things. But there is something that we all have in common. We need love. Sometimes we get disappointed or upset with love. I suggest never giving up, though. Eventually all the pieces fall into place. . . until then, laugh at the confusion, live for the moment, and know that everything happens for a reason. And in time you will see all the pieces will come together. You will find that person who makes you happy. Until then, be happy for those who found love.
Love yourself. Only then you can love others and be loved.
I really like this quote: “I think every girl needs to love herself, regardless of anything. Like if you’re having a bad day, if you don’t like your hair, if you don’t have the best family situation, whatever, you have to love yourself and you can’t do anything until you love yourself first.”
When I have to make some sort of decision I always ask myself, “Don’t you love yourself?” It works every time. It helps you to value who you are. I usually tend to ask myself this question when I’m doing shopping and end up with tons of stuff! haha
I’m still not perfect. I still sometimes forget to love myself, but I’m working on it.
