This Pedernales Falls State Park engagement was a success!
Persistence /pərˈsistəns/ – as the dictionary states is firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition. This word got originated in mid 16th century. It is a mix of french and latin. But I’m sure persistence in pursuing lady’s heart goes way way back than 16th century 🙂 Eric’s persistence in pursuing Rocio’s heart made all the difference in their love story. They met at their first year of college but Rocio had a boyfriend at that time so she wasn’t interested in any other relationships. However, it didn’t stop Eric and he won her heart after Rocio was out of her relationships. I admire persistence in men and was so happy to learn that fun fact about their love story.
I couldn’t help myself and admire how much they care about each other. Rocio is so sweet to Eric. And I aww’d when I saw Eric opening the car door for Rocio. They have been dating for 4.5 years before the engagement. Rocio’s parents are from Argentina, so Eric asked their permission to marry Rocio in Spanish which I think was so sweet. Her family was in town for the proposal but Rocio had no idea that it would be happening. Eric asked her to marry him in front of her family which meant a lot to her… And she said “YES!”.
What a beautiful love story to share. I’m so glad I was able to capture their engagement photos before these guys moved to Florida! But seriously, I LOVED meeting them and so grateful.
