When Sean and Cheyenne approached me with their retro wedding idea I was so excited. Their venue was located in Evanston, WY (yes, it was a destination wedding even though it was only 40 minutes outside of Utah ;)). The Strand Theatre is a cute retro theatre that is located on the Main Street of Evanston. It was just renovated after a devastating fire that happened in 2007. Sean and Cheyenne were the first to get married there. I think this venue perfectly reflected their personalities. Both of them are fun and creative.
I think one of my favorite thing about this wedding was Sean and Cheyenne’s first look. It was so touching and emotional to see these two looking at each other dressed as a groom and bride. I also loved the way they decorated the venue. Especially, I was so in love with the “movie posters” that they created. It resembled their favorite movie “The Notebook”… And it was kinda cool to see my name on the posters, too. haha They used the photos from their engagement session that we did last fall (click here if you want to see the photos).
Wedding are always so touching and happy. This one wasn’t an exception. A lot of the people came from out of the state to celebrate this wonderful event with Sean and Cheyenne.
I only wish them the best in their married life and always be in love.
Enjoy the photos!

Look at his face… So precious!
Love this photo.
I loved how tender and funny this ceremony was. Cheyenne’s brother performed the ceremony.
When a groomsman asks how to pin the boutonnière … haha Photo credit to talented Alicia Ackerman who was second shooting this wedding.
