I want to commit myself to be really good about posting pictures on my blog 🙂 I think if someone asked me what was my favorite portrait photoshoot from last summer I would pick my photoshoot with Mandy. First off, she is absolutely stunning and has this perfect face that you want to take pictures of over and over again. And let me tell you, I love portrait photoshoots!
I had this brilliant idea to take some pictures in a pond. Luckily, Mandy was down for it (I know, she is GREAT!). Utah has many great locations for the photoshoots. We found the pond near Barton park, Utah. My husband decided to join our photoshoot because he could do his favorite thing in the world – fishing. We took the pictures right after the sunrise, so the lighting just as the fishing was perfect!
The pictures were taking by my wonderful Canon 5d Mark ii with 50mm F1.2 L lens. The lighting was easy to manage since it was still pretty early. I used a defuser to soften the light (It was actually pretty funny to watch me holding a defuser in one hand and take pictures with the other haha). I also used a golden side of reflector to reflect a little bit of light on Mandy’s face for the pictures when she was standing in the water.
I hope you like it. Let me know 😉
